Por que o novo iPad esquenta mais?

Assim que o novo iPad foi lançado, algumas noticias tomaram os sites de rumores sobre a Apple informando que ele tinha problemas de projeto. O motivo seria o seu super aquecimento. Exagero, afinal de contas, ele fica apenas mais quente e não super quente. 

O motivo para ele ficar mais quente do que na geração anterior (iPad 2) seria um LED a mais que o novo iPad (o nome é “novo iPad” e não “iPad 3”) tem. Sim, o novo iPad tem dois LEDs para o backlight e deixar a imagem ainda mais brilhante e cores mais vivas. O problema é que isto faz com que em uma de suas laterais, seja gerado mais calor.

Rumores indicam que a próxima geração de iPad pode voltar a ter apenas um LED como no iPad 2. Outro rumor indica que a adoção de LCDs da Sharp poderiam resolver este problema. Afinal a tela IGZO é mais fina, consome menos e gera menos calor. Vale lembrar que a bateria do novo iPad é 70% maior do que a geração anterior apenas por conta da nova retina display.

Bom, são rumores. A verdade talvez nunca seja descoberta, mas este problema de aquecimento é nada comparado com o que o novo iPad oferece de vantagens sobre a geração anterior. Na hora de decidir sobre a compra, não tenho dúvidas, recomendo a compra do novo iPad sobre a geração anterior.
